I explained to a customer I wasn’t able to complete his request due to him not being the account holder. He was upset and called my out of my name it didn’t phase me like he expected it to. After he made the statement I told our store manager he was upset he didn’t hear the customers statement he would’ve banned him from our store.

Forgive the basic question but can you contract around state statutes? For ex, customer wants to insert state contractor payment statutes and have that state law govern. I’m assuming the way around this is to have another more preferable state as choice of law?

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.
