I feel like there should be clear rules for using credit cards and disputing charges. I recently had a call from a guy who spent $1000 on an online game, expecting to be paired with a “genius” player. After playing countless matches, he wanted his money back through a dispute. That’s not how it works. You can’t fully use a service and then claim a refund just because you didn't like it.

Have you ever dealt with customers with such unrealistic expectations?

That’s so crazy. Then they start feeling entitled when you tell them you’re not going to be able to help them

I use to feel like that when I started at this company but a lot has changed over the years

HAHAHAH this made me laugh. People are seriously funny. I can't say I am shocked because people act so entitled these days.

That was literally funny. The guy even asked me how many chances he had to get his money back and I did not give him any false hope either. I told him that it is None.

How do I figure out spending with my SO? Initially I was paying for 90% of stuff (no actual bills, just going out). I talked to her and said we need to be more even. She was never proactive. She kind of got offended but we ended on a good note to split things. It went well for a couple weeks but now it's back to normal. She never takes out her card and only venmos me if I send her the request. She lets Venmos sit for weeks before paying them. I still let a lot of things slide.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.
