I feel weirdly anxious when I step away from my desk, even for lunch. Like if I’m gone too long, someone’s going to need something urgently, and I’ll be the reason they’re stuck. I know it’s not healthy, but I can’t shake the guilt. Sometimes I even bring my food back to my desk just in case. Has anyone actually broken the habit of being too available, and how?

It my first job in clinical trials technology position prior to this I was in dentistry for 32 years and it’s taking me a lot to learn all the ins and outs of data analysis and some of the tech talk.
