I gave an interview 15 days ago in UBS , which was conducted by two Associate Directors. The interview went well, and at the end, the interviewers mentioned that HR would guide me on the next steps.

The following day, the status on the portal changed from “Reviewing” to “We would like to meet you.” However, it’s been 15 days since then, and I haven’t received any communication from HR, nor have I received a response to my follow-up email.

Does this mean I’ve been rejected?

I was initially considered for an insights and analytics Manager - experience management opportunity, aced all the interviews and the recruiter got back to me saying they really liked me but are considering me for a Senior Consultant position in order to ‘set me up for success’, and that I could be promoted to manager anywhere within 3 to 6 months..

Scenario: US visa expired in 2021. Applied for a Canadian tourist visa to hopefully go for H-1B stamping in Canada once they open appointments.
Biometrics completed. Haven’t received any comm regarding my tourist visa approval. My partner already revived the visa long ago even if we allied together. Could it be because my US visa has expired? The reason I gave for applying for visitor visa was just for tourism purposes.

If an otherwise good interview the interviewer says: “I think you have great experience that will help you wherever you go”. Should I be reading into this?
