Anyone’s company still going through the hiring process up to Christmas? Was in the running for a role at a consultancy and had an interview scheduled for weeks. Suddenly got it cancelled with no explanation, when I reached out 2 days later the recruitment team gave little to no explanation besides ‘recruitment stopping for the year. Has left a v sour taste. I recived mail from Deloitte USI HR requesting my last 3 months pay slips and filled CTC data sheet and Aadhar, PAN. Does this mean i got through or selected ? I didn't recieve any formal communication whether i am selected or not.

Again posting since my last post did not got attention. Wanted to ask whether it's good to switch to big 4 India advisory role from a mid tier organization dealing in tech and ops. Additionally, they offered just very low percentage on current CTC saying that I am coming to a big brand.
Plus my current financial situation is stressful and I accepted the offer on certain conditions but now hr or the firm but saying we can't committ you. Any suggestions.
