Manager said she will align on individual project once she gets that trust that I am confident enough. What should I do. Should I trust the process or start looking for some way out as I dont want to waste most precious thing in life - Time

New to project mgmt role. Is it being proactive to call out big deliverables due the day people return from holiday/PTO (that they didn't do before they left) or am I not respecting their time off?

Does anyone know if it's possible to move from tech sales to strategy planning? I am a young professional and mostly have background in sales and account management but I do have an econmics and finance degree which could be helpful to move into more technical roles like strategy and operations.
