I got a McKinsey offer last week (North America) and here are my reflections:
- PEI is slightly more important than the case but case prep takes more time
- Casing methodology is more important than how you ace the case (I'm grateful to my coach for pointing this out to me early on)
- Many people, including experienced casers, have no.idea about PEI. Be careful on receiving feedback from random folks

I know that people say it’s all about story, but with a certain gpa/gmat score is there a “floor” that you’re safe on? For example would someone with 4.0/780 (not me) be pretty much assured at least 1 M7? Or is there a reasonable chance that all M7s will reject them? Or is their floor just lower (T15 for example)?
