I would just say thank you. You are very fortunate to have such a kind executive. I would love for my exec to do this. I had one previously that send me several cash incentives and gift cards, it was a woman exec but it was always bc she felt like I did not get paid enough for the work I did and understood I didn’t get the 50-200k yearly bonuses and stock options the higher level execs get. So even if you are paid well, this is still just a kind gesture.
Not acceptable or professional… it’s giving me sugar baby vibes. I would also agree with the above post and reach out to HR
As long as you don't think he's hitting on you.L, I'd just accept and think of it as him being kind. However, if you do feel like it's bc of a crush/inappropriate feelings... bring it up to HR
Outside of the end-of-year holiday season, these gifts are not professional. You are right in that a simple thank would suffice.
You’ve made your stance clear so you should leave them unused.
That is definitely inappropriate and should not be happening. You should also check your company handbook to see what the gifting policy is. Some companies do not allow for gifts to employees outside of a birthday or winter holiday. Report to HR.
Uh-oh, he's crushing on you. Contact HR
