Hello i got an offer from Brillio (joining in 2023) but as an intern i have experience of using go-lang as backend developer. So my question is should i join Brillo or look for some other companies. I don't know what type of clients Brillio have and tech they use.

I’ve put myself up for L4 promo this cycle. Assuming I get it, what would be the best next steps to optimize for long-term growth/TC?
My understanding is that L5->L6 is extremely painful at Google. It may be easier to leave for a handful of years and gain managerial experience before returning.
L4->L5 is less challenging; however, I’m under the impression I can do this quicker at another company (if I leave after being freshly promo’d) AND get higher TC.

Base of $184K is definitely for the crème de la creme, don’t expect that number, and be pleasantly surprised if you get it.
Congrats! My first grant was 268k over for 4 years.
I would expect things to be lower these days. They’ve tightened the purse strings alot, maybe levels.fyi will have some more recent examples to compare.
Definitely on the upper end of the spectrum. Non tech L5 is ~350 max usually, offer seems fair at initial glance.
Yes levels is fairly accurate. Our base salaries aren’t anything crazy, bonus you can expect guaranteed 15% (though it’s almost always higher, closer to 18-20%), and the rest is usually made up by equity.
Congrats OP, what’s your total YOE?

Also note that for Google, Seattle is a tier below NYC / SF Bay Area for COL adjustment. My Seattle L5 non-tech offer was just below the Levels numbers you cited.
Ah okay thanks for sharing. I haven’t shared any salary expectations just the level I wanted to target with my recruiter.
What was the offer breakdown? Seattle will likely be 10% - 15% less than SF/NYC numbers.
