Unfortunately, doing all of those things alone at work can be seen as problematic. It’s a safety in numbers kind of thing.
We need more people like you in this industry. You were born in the wrong era. Don’t lose hope, seek counsel from those twice your age.
The youth needs to get involved too.
I was recently at a lifetime achievement award gathering for a top creative in our area and he was talking about the good old days at a mid-sized agency where we met. He said back in the 70s and 80s they often joked that they had more fun than should have been allowed by law. And then in the late 80s, they hired their first HR person and found out they were literally having more fun than was allowed by law.
I worked in 90’s, perforated my septum and impregnated half the office. You missed out brah.
That’s a lot of child support

The old days were definitely more interesting. Young people are 💤💤💤💤 and offer no drama or intrigue for us middle aged folks to enjoy.
