History of BCG layoffs anyone?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

If it’s legal in the state you should be fine. If it becomes a problem while you’re at work then it’s an issue.
Medical cards are $100-200 and if you are reliant on it then save up or throw it on a credit card. Otherwise quit until you get a job, most places only do the test once as part of screening
If you get the card and they require a test then yeah I’d let the recruiter know you have one to help you sleep. Otherwise no reason to tell anyone. Even if the post says they test, don’t say anything until the recruiter confirms you have to test.
Also review your state’s laws. The card should protect you in all, but in some states like CA you’re protected even without a card, while in others companies can disqualify you even if it’s legal in your state
Thank you. That was an aspect I had been wondering about too.
A recruiter I spoke to several months back told me most companies are not checking for thc. Should I try to just tough it out? Or is it something I can bring up if I receive an offer? Should I not mention it at all?

I don't get it.... Are you bragging or what?
I am genuinely asking a question. I don't see what could be bragging in my post. I've never really had to apply to jobs like this and I needed advice.
