USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Exactly. No patient is worth putting your license at risk. They can go to another clinic and try that nonsense
Oh wow...that's...awful and I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. Good that you stuck to your guns on this though and a lesson for all of us on things to avoid and how to deal with the situations
To add more to the story, this patient from my clinical opinion had reached maximum potential benefit from physical therapy. I had to explain to him, for 20 minutes, why further PT is of no benefit. I also had to explain to him, insurance companies have their own clinicians working for them, who at any time could ask for documentation. At which point they would see what I wrote and ask why I continued treating the person if I said he’s reached maximum benefit? Which could mean they would send him a bill for all the treatments, file legal action against me, file legal action against my company and/or my company would have to foot the bill.
Yes, your assessment is spot on!
Glad you didn’t do it! True professional with high standards.
I cannot believe someone actually asked you to do this! Its crazy the audacity that some people have!!!
Just simply refuse. You have all the right to do so. Don't compromise your years of study and effort including your integrity just for someone else not worthy. You worked hard to establish yourself. Don't let anyone ruin it for their selfish motives.
No way would I do that. It's unethical and against the law. Its fraud. You could go to jail for that.
