I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(

I’m really struggling with figuring out my sexuality and dating as I enter the next phase of my life (into my first job). Not out Bisexual male - uncertain about dating. I think non-inclusive teams aren't revenue-efficient, but also aren't morally bad. Most just want to live in their bubble and not have their lives disrupted. If people want coworkers to talk football or cricket or fashion or LGBTQ+ rights with, that's entirely their prerogative. Companies and teams aren't just money printers, but also communities. You can't expect to fit into all communities.

Sometimes when I make a mistake at work I feel like I am not good enough for the job while other times I take it as “let’s do better next time.” Would love to find a balance between the two feelings.
