I had a call from a recruiter for the position of "Sr. Data Scientist" on Aug 20th. The interviews (R1, R2) were held on Aug 24th (Saturday) with the 1st one being a Technical one and the other one Managerial.

On Aug 28th, received a mail from VWITS HR for documents to discuss further. I had a call from HR and discussing on the remunerations and rest. I was being told that the Offer would be rolled out in 2 biz days but today is the 4th biz day. Could anyone share the general trend out here?

I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?
