Best advice I got for ADHD was a protein rich diet, Omega 3s, and cut back on caffeine with your meds,
I was always told to take it on an empty stomach and then my doctor also told me that taking magnesium at night is supposed to help too
Everyone's physiology is a little different, so you may need to do some trial and error to match yours. I start my day with coffee, Adderall, and guanfacine. I could never take Adderall on an empty stomach, and I have to have a protein focused breakfast. I'll also sip on coffee throughout the day. Changing my routine too much reduces my productivity. Listen to others for suggestions, but try things out within reason and go with what works for you.
Take zinc with adderall to increase effect
Obvious one here, but my doctor didn’t tell me at first that orange juice/ things heavy in vitamin C make it less effective. That’s the only one I really make sure I stay away from

Something I’ve heard can actually help rather than hurt is eating high protein breakfast before or right after taking meds.
