Early into career in Technology Consulting at a large firm (think Big 4). Have some experience in implementation and it has been fine but not where I see myself long term. I’ve also seen companies touting diversity on Instagram like “30% black, 55% person of color...etc.”. I’m wondering, what ethnicity/ races are they referring to when they say “people of color”? Looking for advice, strangers. Currently on a team that has grown exponentially over the last few months. However, I have felt stagnant in my role for a while, as leadership has changed many times, causing annual plans and budget requests to go ignored or unapproved. Few weeks ago I saw a new role, applied, and was offered the role. Around the same time, new leadership joined my team and offered to elevate and support my role. Do I stay or do I go?
