I had a manager ask me if "compassionate leave" really meant they had to show compassion. I had to bite my tongue. Policies do not replace humanity. Have you ever been shocked by how little empathy some leaders show?

sigh* last week Saturday my s/o & I broke up after our 3 year relationship. & it really been affecting me negatively — not eating, autopilot mode, self isolation & diving deep into work. Any tips to prolong nail polish wear? My nails chip in less than 2 days with regular nail polish. I don’t want to get gel or powder because they ruin my nails and I only want to have my nails polished occasionally.

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. I know everything doesn’t fall on her shoulder but things haven’t been great as of late. Hopefully they figure out something soon.
