Reached out to me cold with a few ideas and I’ve had two follow up emails and a call with an MD at reputable banks, but it all seems very sketchy. For instance an “HR Specialist” reached out to me to set up a call, but when I look her up on LinkedIn she’s a IB VP. I can't help but notice that the most touted exit opps mentioned here are all 'G&A' positions - S&O, CorpDev, Strat, etc. Aren't these positions the first in line to go come layoff time? Prod Management seems like it would be more insulated from layoff pressure (so long as your P&L is in the black) though even that could come under budgetary pressure.

Doing 2nd of 3 interviews on Tuesday and looking for interview tips. I learned very quickly that I don't understand how the levels and total comp packages work. I'm interviewing for a Business Operations Specialist and when looking at salary ranges they are all over the place. Add in the changes a few months back and I now have NO idea where I should fall.
