I had my mid level engineer ask me this question in a one on one. We encourage usage of copilot during work. They want to make sure that using it is not detracting from their ability to learn, grow, and form mastery in the craft. Staff engineers have a good grasp of languages and frameworks they use. What advice would you give them?

You have to be honest with yourself. Do you really understand how this works, or is Copilot just a crutch? Are you using it for repetitive “busy work” or is it tackling more complex problems? Assuming that not just staff engineers are using it.

It’s a great question! Something not enough people are asking or talking about. AI is here, and we have to figure out how to work with it, but with some guidelines.

Hello.
It looks like good.
I am looking for full stack and Blockchain developer for my ongoing project, How do i find?

I would say if you make sure you understand and can stand by and endorse every line of code you submit, you will continue to learn and you will also submit better code than your colleagues who don't do this. Using AI effectively is something they'll need to learn, grow, and form mastery in in addition to the traditional skills.

I really want to move out of my parents place for social reasons etc. I still hangout with friends a lot but it’s just a hassle having to drive a hour or so to kick it with them. So my dilemma is I enjoy saving $ on rent (yes I know can’t have both) but the main reason for me moving back home is so that I can save and buy a house. On the flip side with how expensive houses are right now it’s hard to even buy. I’m in CA btw SoCal. If anyone has any suggestion of places to live for a 26 YO TIA!
