Yes! Have done this several times to keep my kids accounts active! Can even have it auto launch so when you shop on a site it automatically tells you and you get miles

United dining program or united credit card

like

Fly united or spend them

Worst option compared to others presented

You just have to earn points to keep your account active, give points for surveys a try. Sign up, link your mileage plus account and take a survey or two. They'll give you like 50 miles and that should keep your account active. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

Same for me. I bought Staples $1 gift coupon for 500 points. Reminder to self my 29500 are expiring soon so another Staples for me :)

like

Last I checked, donating at least 500 miles to one of their charity partners works too

like

Transfer them to a credit card which does collab with United

Transfer 1 Chase point to United

If you trust someone who flys United, you can give them your account info and have them buy 30 minutes of in flight WiFi. I’ve done this for family members. The $1 gift cards seem like a smart move too.

Squawk Box guest says we will definitely return to business travel exactly like 2019, but it’s going to “take some time.” I’m trying to decide whether I am bringing my team back to the office in full or hybrid models or staying WFH. I was mostly leaving for better pay and future career prospects (partner eventually). Current firm offer: 95k for 1500 hours; 3% 401k match; 12 weeks full salary paid maternity leave; 20% equity in the firm; small firm (5 attorneys) Already accepted offer: 115k 1900 hours; potential to become partner; 6 weeks paid maternity leave; national firm. ...bad to stay?
