How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? I’ve been irresponsible and made mistakes, but wondering if I can switch jobs now or if I’m best off waiting 1-2 years and cleaning up my credit first.

Does anyone have a preferred car service company? I am looking for a service that can consistently provide traveler alerts such as when car has arrived, passenger is on board, trip competed, etc. across US cities. I have found a company that will do this when I book travel in NYC, but when my Professionals arrive in their destination cities the affiliates do not offer this same feature. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Does anyone have experience/knowledge regarding whether the different B4 deal analytics teams 1) work remote 2) still travel? Looking to potentially make a switch but have heard different things across the board, including seeing that most of the job postings for senior roles in these groups are tagged to offices and don’t say remote.

Staying at the Ritz and STR in the Maldives so expecting good service and reading mixed things about tipping. I usually don’t tip much at hotels (never really thought about it) but what do people do? Is there an expectation and would the amount be based on like room rate or just a flat daily per day?

As a GC holder I’m planning to travel abroad for 2,5months starting late September.

Is this going to jeopardize my resident status? Can I go without a lease?

Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for.
