I have 6 years of experience in big MNC'S CAPTIVE companies now i got an offer from RSM (big 5) if my goal is to become a manager in an MNC is it a right move to join a Consultant firm like RSM ? Or should I continue in industry ?

Wanted to decline an offer (which I had accepted earlier) stating location contraint, but now they have given location of my choice.Still I don't want to join.

How should I deal with company in this scenario.

I have got an offer for Manager level at a Big 4 in Consulting. People who are 3-4 years juniors at my MBA college are at Manager level and might get promoted sooner than me. Also, a couple of immediate juniors are at Senior Manager level.

Have you been in a similar situation? Is it awkard? How to handle it after joining?

PS: If you are wondering, I do not have a Big 4 or consulting experience while they have it.

I had a small query that I have been interviewed for a role in Deloitte in October 2020 and I have not cleared the interview then after again I had applied and cleared the interview and got the LOI also but the time gap is not exactly 6 months between the two interviews will it be a problem to get my offer letter.?

About me : currently an audit senior in ey GDS with 2.5 years exp in assurance service line
A. Senior associate - PwC Sdc internal audit offering 30 percent hike from current + joining bonus 2L
B. Analyst - JPMorgan - control Management Corporate and treasury risk function - 23 percent from current

If i don't bother much on the money front, what would be the better choice career wise ?
