I have a 11 years of experience in UX and UXR. I just finished a role after 8 months of working at a design agency. I am struggling to even get interviews. I wrote cover letters for every job that accepts them and I have revised my portfolio and resume forwards and backwards. Does anyone have any ideas what else I can do?

Hi, I did interview with amazon.

Round 1: HR round. cleared.

Round 2: Hiring manager round. Went well.

After 2 weeks they said Role no longer available. It was L5 supply chain role. This happened in April. Can I apply again in Amazon? I joined a company 3 months ago, does it look bad in CV to leave again in 3 months? I hv a 6 month gap in career in 2019 due to lay off (covid). total exp 9 yrs. SCM exp 6 yrs.

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

Happened to me with Mindtree recruiter, for an IoT leadership position where the interviewing VP chose to no show twice… after which I thanked the recruiter that I was impressed by their book of busi-ness and that it was intimidating to be thinking about the prospect of working for Mindtree… as I’m too incapable for those performance standards… 😂😂

I directly said to client that I can't since I have my family here.
When I inform this to my manager he is saying how come u say like this to client.according to kpmg policy u need to travel to anywhere to work.

Any recommendations for certifications, ideally under $1,000? I've seen several but not sure of the quality or the relevance. I'm already working in UX unofficially and have updated my resume but looking to make a switch to user experience research.
