I have a 16-month-old son and not a single mom friend. It feels so pathetic to write that. I'd love to find other moms so my kid can have playdates, but also so I can have someone to talk to, commiserate with, give advice, etc. Because of COVID, there isn't much opportunity to interact with other parents at daycare dropoff, and with classes and playgroups scarce, I'm not sure what else to do. 6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I'm not in sales per se but I manage my company's largest wholesale account ($150 million per/yr account). It's a great company, awesome culture, good benefits, flexibility, but the pay is not great ($60K/yr).
