I have a very odd habit of stereotyping accents of character or writer in my head while reading a novel or anything. Like if I’m reading a BBC article, I imagine it in British accent. Or if I’m reading a book set in Nigeria, I would imagine it in accent (very poor) of my version of what Nigerian English speaker may sound like. If I don’t know their background or ethnicity, it’s always Sam L Jackson. I don’t know if this is normal, LOL
