I'm wanting to know what people think is better. Kaiser or ucla health for working as an admin staff. Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. As dumb as it sounds it makes a difference in being more comfortable throughout the day and having your clothes fit properly
Idk. If you are overweight, by all means try to get healthy. But the mindset should be more around wellness.
I think there are career benefits to exercise. Weight loss prob indicates that your colleagues are shallow.
Personally for me, I am at my best at work when I know I am happy with my appearance. I grew up in an environment where you were judged solely by your looks, and that's had a lasting effect.

Yes. People assume fit/healthy people are more disciplined, have more energy, etc. Fat people are judged all the time as lazy, lack will power, etc. probably not accurate or fair, but that's life. No downsides to getting in better shape.
