I have an international mobility question. Has anyone worked in Rx in Canada and in the US? Was your experience gained in Canada valuable in the US or in the UK or too different to be recognized ?

How will the US come out of covid19? As an outsider they seem at greater risk then others: expensive healthcare, no sick days, homeless people, people who wont stay home... Thoughts?

So I’m in industry from big 4, and a colleague with same yoe comes from MBB. High paying tech firm. I think I work harder and produce quality content at speed, but they can hold executive conversations that tend to impress senior stakeholders.

Big 4 produces work horses and MBB produces leaders. Also they could be a work horse too since I don’t have full visibility.

Anyone have similar experiences or do I just suck at executive stakeholder management?

How long is too long to try to push back a start date? Getting a formal offer early next week but trying to keep that big law bonus if possible. Firm pays out bonuses Dec 30 & I have a vacation scheduled Dec 19-23 (and was planning on working remotely the week after too). Ideally want to get EOY bonus or negotiate for a signing bonus but is it too much to push for signing bonus and those weeks off? I'm open to working remotely those two weeks but know that may not be the best when I start.

The recruiters said it will be a case study lasting for 2.5 hours. The case will not be given in advance. They only said it is a about a fictious bank.
