Currently a senior in audit, but I am interested in trying to transfer to Turnaround and Restructuring after busy season. I have my CPA and about 6 years of audit experience. Is there anything I can do to make myself more marketable? Is the transition from audit to restructuring difficult?

Trying to get my GRE Quant score from a 160 to a 165. Feel like it’s a harder jump than when starting from a lower base - will appreciate any strategy tips or suggested Quant resources!

After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.
