Hello fishes, I have offers from two different companies and both are offering same amount of CTC - 18LPA (YOE: 3.2) . Company names are Pristyn Care and Xiaomi technology india pvt. ltd .
Now for Pristyn Care I won't have to move out of Gurgaon (I'm from north India). Xiaomi is calling me to Bangalore. Rest all the benefits seem similar.
In terms of learning and job security and all the aspects considered, which company should I join?
Please help me decide. Thank you!
Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.
Give me 1 reason why I should accept the offer from BCG?

I think attrition is driving their need for recruiting more than actual case work
Can confirm massive attrition at “the group” - higher than usual voluntary (due to cultural issues) and massive cuts they did last year during the pandemic. As a result, teams are burning hot - same scope but vastly under-resourced - driving the need to hire.
All of our practice areas were sold out. It’s not anyone area

A need for new hires is driven by both labor supply and project demand.
My understanding is that it's more of a supply issue (combination of attrition, under hiring during COVID, etc.)
Since this job title does not exist at BCG I am suspect of your information.
When did you apply? And did you have a referral? Applied a couple days ago and want to guage how long to wait before losing hope
Business is up. We are continuing to grow in all PAs. Attrition is not up— it’s at completely normal levels based on what we would expect looking at historic attrition. But, people supply is down because we didn’t hire anybody at all last year. Combine that with growing business and you have both a supply- and demand-driven problem.
Attrition is not above normal levels. It’s the same as it’s always been - which is high for a normal company but standard in an up or out model. Hard truth but there it is. We are growing revenue at a very fast rate - and so we’re hiring to support that growth. Anyone who tells you this is attrition driven is mistaken. There’s elevated attrition in spots (for example where Google and the like are picking off more of our people than usual) but it’s non systemic.
