I have applied to 5 schools, worked with good consultant, but received 2 rejections and the other 3 are still pending but it is safe to assume it is a reject without interview. The consultant was sure I would get invites everywhere. Is that just a noise and bad luck or did consultant and I miss something?

I (Spring Boot + Angular, FS, 6 YOE) interview candidates at the product company I work for.

People just show up with no prep. I interview for 4-6 YOE and these people aren't even expecting to write a single line of code. Even questions like "find the lesser of the two angles between the two hands of a clock, given the time" or simple geometry problems that don't need DSA knowledge is too hard to attempt.

They claim they know Angular/React/Spring without knowing basic Javascript/Java. 😒

Got a call from CTS via bot. They asked for interview on 23rd Sep. My present role at Infosys is Technical Test Lead. Kindly suggest what role you try for in CTS. Also present CTC is 16.22. Expected CTC should be how much?

Actually, I gave Interview for BackEnd Developer @ Itilite. I was selected in the interview process (2 Tech DSA Based + HR) and got a mail stating that our interview panel is really impressed with your domain related expertise in order to proceed with offer negotiation please submit your documents. Now after 2-3 days of document submission, they came up by saying they cant move forward with my candidature.

I am still amazed how can they do this after asking my documents.

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.

I moved to the Netherlands 3 months ago on a spouse visa. Was working with EY-P earlier. I have been applying to jobs and giving interviews but for some reason things are not working out. I get a different reason everytime (after going through the whole process). This has never happened earlier in life and now I don't know what else to do. I cleared all my rounds of interview in JPMC, had salary discussion with HR 2 weeks back. After which i was asked to apply the job on candidate portal and submit additional information.

Its almost 2 weeks and i haven't heard back anything from them. My status in portal shows "You are moving to the final steps in the process". This status has not changed since last 2 weeks.

Can i expect the offer letter to be released? If yes when?

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. HYPSM ug in econ, 3.7gpa, GRE 169v/163m. 4 years exp (age 25) on matriculation (2 MBB, 2 int development). No promos.

ECs: founded social enterprise, journalism (on health, environmental inequities etc) at top pubs, published academic research, 4 yrs volunteering as advisor for social entrepreneurs. Recs good not amazing.
