I mean… are your scores good? Is your story compelling? Consultant is incentivized to be somewhat positive but that is surprising. I’m sorry though
The weakest point is undergrad grades. Test score is good though. Story is great. The consultant was also surprised but now saying that “it happens”
I came to him with the question and when he looked at my grades, he really did study the transcript, he said I am fine.
How weak are the grades vs your target school’s median?
Hard to tell without reading your essays / knowing your stats and knowing what schools you applied to. If 3 of those schools were HSW, well, they’re a crapshoot anyways. I’d be slightly worried if none of your 5 were hyper competitive like those, and you didn’t receive a single interview.
Anyways, round 2 is around the corner, so pick yourself up and go again

This outcome is understandably disappointing, especially if your consultant told you that you should expect to get interviews at all 5 schools.
But, if you applied to 5 M7 programs, those are stretch schools for just about everyone. Hopefully you used the optional essay to explain what was going on during undergrad that resulted in your less than stellar performance.
At this point, you best case is that you are waitlisted one or two of the programs you haven't heard from.
If you want to be in business school next year, it's time to create a plan for R2.
