Hi fishes, How are the projects & future of data science in EY GDS tech consulting? Is it risky to join considering most of the Indian companies are not that good in data science projects outcomes. Some are targetting unrealistic task and applicability of AIML to every unrelevant field. Is it going to be challenging for someone who is from nontech background & joining tech team with not at all software develping experience. Is it possible to cope up with team? Suggestions would help a lot. EY
IBM GBS or IBM ISL is good?

It might be your resume. This was me. I applied from July- Dec and got rejected everywhere. I changed my resume and so far every job has hired me even on the spot. I have to turn away positions now. And Im only a CNA. Heres what I did. I uploaded my current resume to chat gpt and told the prompt to change it to HARVARD style format. Definitely a game changer! Good luck!
Thank you for that information
Try putting your resume in ChatGPT to see how it can be improved as well as help with cover letters. Most people never both to submit a cover letter. As I always tell people, pray and ask God to lead you to where He needs you. He has a plan for your life. I don't want to be someone that He didn't send me. Please do not be discouraged because you didn't hear back when applying. Unfortunately, most companies do not bother contacting applicants (which I think is rude and unprofessional) so I don't think that you're necessarily doing anything "wrong" as you may be thinking. Try to get registered with staffing companies and definitely sign up on Indeed.com if you haven't already. I get multiple emails daily from Indeed and quite a few from Glassdoor with job leads. As hard as it is to wait, I promise God has a plan for your life. Continue to seek Him for wisdom. Finding a new job is definitely full-time work (or it has been for me!) and I just want to encourage to stay positive and keeping seeking and knocking on the proverbial doors!!
Forgive my typo. I thought that you could edit comments on here, however, I couldn't figure out how to do that. I meant to type that "I don't want to be SOMEWHERE that He (God) didn't send me."
We know you are talented and experienced. Definitely let Lensa or ChatGPT change your résumé. It helps leaps and bounds. Blessings & Good Luck.
As I always say, networking is key! I think you're more likely to get in through referrals than cold applying to random companies.
You’re actually doing really well. A colleague who was laid off at the same time I was said she applied for over 700 jobs and only got six interviews. My immediate thought was that she needs to focus and hone her applications to those where she is more likely to get an interview. Or that otherwise she must be doing something wrong. At the rate you’re going…keep going and doing what you’re doing. Draft Q & As to the standard interview questions, prepare for your interviews, and stick to your script. Keep applying, keep practicing, and once you are certain that you didn’t get the job request feedback from the recruiter. I’m 55 and for much of my life no one was willing to give any feedback, but now more people are willing to do so. Look at each interview as a chance to practice your skills and potentially get feedback even if you don’t get the job.
