I have cleared technical rounds in Accenture.My preferred location is Hyderabad and same mentioned starting onwards.Now HR called me for location confirmation they are saying location would be Bangalore as the requirement is project specific.If I’m okay for relocation then they are going to release the offer letter.Is this normal in Accenture will they change location if we negotiate with HR?If anyone faced same situation please help me to how to negotiate for preferred location
Get another offer in Hyderabad
They mentioned if there are any project requirement in Hyderabad they can change to Hyderabad.As of now they don’t have requirement for Hyderabad location
Usually all the companies have policy to relocate staffs if required.
You can try negotiating over call bcoz their req gets filled quickly, if you do in emails it may take time, meanwhile you can try other openings.
Btw What is ur tech stack?
I tried to negotiate in call but they are not accepting.In my managerial round also I mentioned about the location. Panel given positive feedback.If its project specific location then they should not be select.
Tech stack is SAP ABAP

They are not changing the location my preferred location was pune but in offer letter it was Bangalore.
So please discuss with hr before that .

Yes they saying if you are not ready to relocate then we will not release offer letter and you might loose this opportunity
Say Yes bro. Congratulations. Initially you can opt for Bangalore, but within 6 months you can switch location
Thanks bro.I have another offer in hand for my preferred location.They are clearly mentioning you have to come Bangalore office weekly one or twice.So it will difficult to me to travel
If you have other offer..you can demand with them.

Update:They are not agreed for my preferred location.I lost opportunity.Everyone if you are looking for preferred location first check in Accenture portal if location is different then don’t attend interviews bcoz you will waste your time.Sometimes third party vendors are referring to Accenture they will say there is no particular location but at end HR will ask for particular location and they reject.Even third party vendors also don’t about the locations. for there sake third party vendors will process our applications.
