Treat them well!
Not to burst your bubble, but the pride you feel now will turn into pain/regret when they inevitably leave, followed by progressive apathy which each successive generation.

My boss expects us to leave eventually and says she’s preparing us for our next roles and to hopefully be GC’s on our own someday.
I had dinner with her and my team last night and we shared stories about our early years of practice and some of the abuses we experienced, and all agreed that law firms don’t train managers to manage people, so there are tons of people with direct reports that have no business being a manager. A big reason people leave is bad bosses.
