I have seen our culture devolve into a Darwinian environment. Our people that are most incredible in coaching and leading teams have been let go. Many of them are parents who decided to work FWA or had some type of leave during the last fiscal. It seems like leadership blindly let go of those people because of their numbers - which were not actually prorated as we were told they would be. Ive had Significant Impact senior managers let go. Leadership is making sloppy decisions and the firm will suffer the consequences in the long run.

Hi All,

I joined HCL in july 2021 & completed one year in july 2022. Currently I am serving notice period and my last working day is December 7th. I resigned in September month
So when I will get my variable pay of last year as my performance cycle is still not closed.

I work for a small consulting in AZ and this is my first time assisting intern recruitment. We offer $31.25/ hour and we are getting questions left and right about housing stipends from out-of-state candidates.

I totally get why they are asking and I am researching to see what other firms are doing out there.

How does your firm measure utilization? I work for a small boutique that defines it as utilization = number of billable hours/2,080 and full bonus payout occurs at 80% plus.

Would you take an offer you're not that into?

Company A: Offer letter coming in tomorrow, speaking with HR.

It's not an industry I'm interested in, and want to get away from, but my prev exp is related to it (financial). Team is supportive. HM is very persistent in getting me to join.

So far, only offer.

Had final rounds for companies B+C yesterday, waiting to hear back.

& How do you ask for a week's time? I do have final rounds next Wed for company D.

Any real estate experts in the house? Thinking of making a move to Miami from Jacksonville. Jacksonville real estate is still pretty inflated and hasn’t really come down much. Is real estate in Miami following the same pattern? Or is it expected to deflate with high interest rates?

I have 6 years of IT experience.
Worked on Asp.net webform (not much front or UI) and SQL, very little experience on javascript or jquery. Little or no experience on web api.
I would like to take time and gear up to become more marketable and confident in technology before moving onto new job.
As I have not much hands on experience (worked on enhancement project only not from scratch) I am not confident enough for switch company or change project.

Guys please suggest me. How to improve my skillset.
