For those asking where to donate
I got an email from a recruiter from PayPal about a position I didn’t apply for. How do I know that? Because on workday you can see all the jobs I applied for. I applied for one position in the company but got reply for another position I am not interested in. The recruiter wants to set up a phone interview? How would you react? Because I would love working there, but not in this position,
Would you say something during the phone call or before?

I avoid them as much as I can. I don't engage with people that I have to "check" just to get through a conversation. That's not always possible at work, though, so when we do have to interact, I try to be as terse and direct as possible to minimize the amount of time spent dealing with them.

Unfortunately I can’t avoid him. I have to interact with y’all the employees in the building in some way
Ugh, I avoid them like the plague. I had a co-worker who saw me use Apple pay and it showed what card I use, and later that day at lunch told me to convert to a credit union to help me save money. I wasn't looking for financial advice. He needed to mind his own business and made me sound like I was hurting for money in front of everyone. He was SO nosy and a loud-mouth.

Yea I would’ve been able to deal with him. I’m sorry you had to deal with a person like him

I’d keep it direct but calm—something like, “I want to hear what you have to say, but let me finish first.” Setting clear boundaries helps, even if it feels awkward at first. How have you tried handling it so far?
