I have this owner who refuses to get their dog tested or treated for parasites. How on earth can I change their mind?

First year at Big4 tax here. I’m performing well but don’t know if I like tax as much as I thought I would. Has anyone done one year of tax and then switched over to audit? If so, how was the transition and did you stay at a first year associate level?

I tutor ESL after school and recently switched over to Zoom. Students are stating that they are unable to annotate. I’ve read that this is common for Chromebook users. I’m a very experienced veterinary assistant who has been doing this job for about 4 years in total however because of my skill level I would say I am more of an unlicensed technician. I’m looking for input on what I should ask for a raise. Given the minimum wage, I make about $5 over but that hasn’t really changed to match inflation of living, etc and truly feel like I should be making a decent amount more given my skills. Hi everyone, I’m seeking some advice - my dog (8yrs old) was attacked several months ago by another dog and after she became depressed and anxious. We got her anti depression meds and those seemed to help but how a lot now a lot of signs are pointing to a potential brain tumor. To get an MRI is +1k. My mom doesn’t want to spend money but it just hurts me so much to see the behavior - she walks around in constant circles, looks sad, seizures, hides under the bed. Any advice would be appreciated.
