I joined Accenture last week.
On day 1 itself, I received email mentioning that I have been hard locked into some project.
When I login to Jobs Gateway, I see a message "You are currently in X project till 12/31/2026.
When I login to workday,In experience section I see this project got added automatically.
Where Start Date is 06/2026
And End date is 12/2026.

Does this mean, I will be included in the project from June month to December month?

The grind in tech is soul-destroying, and the vast majority of the time, coworkers outside of UX have no idea what it is, what it’s for, and how it’s applied. I’m at my wits end and the constant problem is a kind of “willful misunderstanding” of our process and value.

After wasting too many years on design immature companies, It’s senselessly depressing. I’ve given away too much of myself.

Relatively new position at a coveted firm as their Marketing and BD manager. Have suffered burnout and depressive episodes previously: can feel the symptoms raising it’s head. Most importantly, struggling to tolerate how directors speak to me, whereas previously I wouldn’t take it personally and get on with it. Actively looking for a different position as I’ve come to discover this company exploits EME employees, but want to attempt to end on a “high note”.

2nd year assoc. here. Finding myself spending 3-5 hours researching/analyzing issues that should only take 1-3 hours. I find myself questioning - for every assignment - is this the issue I was asked to look into? Did I read that case right? Does this analysis make sense? And I end up reading the same cases over and over. Does anyone have advice for being more confident/efficient on tasks, especially research?

Question: Girl friends parents finally came over for a ristha. Everything went great or so I thought but now she wants to time to think about moving forward. The pain point she brought up is that we are in different states and she is feeling pressed. Hi, I got an offer letter from Accenture with DOJ 1st of March but my current organization release me on the 4th of march, in that case, what should I need to do as I have already sent a mail to HR to extend my offer letter till 6th of March and she agreed on that. Will they revoke my offer letter in this case or they will initiate my new offer letter? Need help

Iam 5 month pregnant , thinking to get release from project due to health issue and taking maternity leave from april 1st, at this situation can I be in bench for 3 months and go in maternity leave ? Will this affect my job in Accenture? Will the organization allow to be in bench for 3 months? If iam in bench during maternity leave will i get variable pay
