I joined Ford recently from a Edtech company and despite the reviews here of work life balance etc my job has been really hectic. I start at 10:30 am and my work extends beyond 10 pm coz most of the team leaders are in NA and the calls start from evening. Also, I my team treat LL5/LL6s as gods. In my previous experience I saw people getting laid off or kicked out for questioning leadership so does the same happen here as well?

Anyone experience not working well with managers and up (due to micro-management, talk to you like a child, etc), but find them cool outside of work? Finding it hard to hang with them during HH now.

I recently sign a lease. The apartment will put my security deposit into an interest-bearing account and requires me to fill out a form W9. I will join EY this June and just wondering if this is ok in terms of the independence rule. I guess the apartment will put my deposit in some sort of funds. Anyone with EY has experience? Reading the independence brochure, looks like it does not specify something related to this scenario but just wanted to confirm . TIA!
