Not required to report at your level - independence team member
Thank you very much!
Everybody who rents has a security deposit. But it is not your decision where they place the money and is certainly not an account you control. Since you may get a 1099 for the interest I suppose you can add the deposit to your independence confirm if you want to play it safe. Do you know if you already have to declare the lease or the landlord?
I’m a new hire and associate level, looks like they only want me to check all the securities I held before joining EY. I do not see the independence brochure mentioning declaring lease or landlord. Maybe that’s for manager level and above?
