I really want to have another baby... Bio clock is running out. I have two kids in school, one with special needs. I'm already struggling to stay ahead with work and family responsibilities. I am afraid of how my team will respond if I tell them I'm pregnant or trying. Am I crazy for wanting another? Or crazy for letting my job get in the way of growing my family.

Do you have any recommendations for baby carriers - specifically for bigger babies? We have a baby bjorn, boba wrap, and ergobaby embrace, but it feels like they are getting small / tight for my big baby boy. For reference, he is already over 18lbs at 4mos. Would love something that would be comfy for him but also distributes weight well, as he will only get heavier 🤪 Thank you in advance!

38 weeks pregnant and for the past week have had (what I assume to be) sciatic nerve pain localized in my right buttocks. However, for the past 2 days, I haven’t been able to put any weight on my right leg and can’t walk. Did anyone else experience this to this severity? Did it go away with birth? I am being induced in a week but am terrified I won’t be able to walk/carry baby after they are born.

How many hours of sleep do you think you got during your third trimester?? I am 35 weeks and wake up every 2 hours to pee. (I know I’ll get less when baby comes 🙃) but just curious !

Should I keep my maternity clothes or sell/donate? I cannot decide. Have a one year old, close to 40yo and we’re not sure if we’ll ever have another one, likely not and agreed not to decide now but rethink in 1-2 years.

How would you handle this situation? My MIL is friendly and tries to be motherly towards me… giving life advice, wants to care for baby, asks lots of personal questions. I just don’t feel the same towards her mainly bc we are not aligned on values and she’s a big gossip so anything shared with her will be repeated. How do I maintain a good relationship with her while keeping her at arms length? We live in the same city.

Looking for perspective here! I’m worried that my ex is going to refuse to pay child support and take me to court over it. And I’m worried that somehow support won’t be given. In your collective experiences, do judges award child support in 50/50 custody cases if the husband makes more a good deal more income? My ex makes 60% of hhi and I make 40%, but live in a HCOL area so really need support to help pay rent. My lawyer says I can’t make the rent case because I can move somewhere cheaper.

So I made it through the two week wait. Positive pregnancy test (hooray) now I’m nervous for the next 8 weeks of course.
Any recommendations on what not to do? I’ve been told I can exercise, have sex, and do all my normal activities, but I’m nervous. This is my first child, and my first positive pregnancy test. 36 years old. Any advice would be great. I know I’m prone to a miscarriage due to my hormone levels so I’m trying to be extra cautious.

I’ve been at a new firm for a couple of months and feel incompetent half the time when I’m explaining something to my new boss. I’m a third year and am usually confident in my abilities, but I feel like a first year again and I’m unsure if it’s the new more specialized practice area, being uncomfortable in a firm where I’m the new kid, or if I’ve regressed practically. Someone tell me the discomfort of being new wears off semi-quickly.
