What are client-facing career paths for a non-MBA software engineer with 7 YoE? Something that doesn’t require buried in code 100% of the time.

So I work for a division called “In house services” where I am essentially an extension to my clients HR. My client recent had me source for a Program Coordinator in Talent Acquisition. They just offered her 7k more than what I make. She acts as a support to TA while I do full cycle direct hire & manage a 50+ contractor workforce managing about 30 open reqs at one time. To my employees, I am their HR and Payroll. I know the client TA people make even more. Is it worth bringing up to my boss?

I am working for a very complicated and hard to work with client in Citiustech, I want release from this project but after requesting multiple time it was not happening. Later I decided to leave Ciitiustech which is really a very good company and I got offer from another SSC with decent hike. Now HR is ready to release me from this project and is not talking about hike.
What should I do ?

Something that severely gets into my nerves :

I advise clients on tech and sometimes help them debug stuff. This client told me they tested the solutions I gave and that it didn’t work, and requested a meeting to sort it off. We schedule a meeting. I just inspected their account and they haven’t tested shit, I can see the same code mistakes, they never tried to change anything.

I’m pissed. They’re basically wasting my time and I don’t even see the point in meeting with them.

Advice?

My manager consistently makes condescending remarks about my work even though I’m overworked and prioritize what is urgent. I regularly work 12-13+ hours a day but never receive any confirmation or recognition that I’m doing a good job and there is always something to criticise.

Currently working in-house at a company with a small marketing team of 4 since 2020. My responsibilities have grown each quarter to the point where it’s hard to make time to get specialized in a few marketing and social media skills. I’m curious about moving roles but not sure how to choose a next path. Should I stay as a generalist and try to move up or gamble on a skill/interest and become more specialized?
