I just made a mental health decision to not return to my toxic job after a short disability stint that was triggered by my supervisor. No resolve with my job hr department except delayed payment of disability and further back n forth about "what happened".

Long story short I had an anxiety attack in front of HR after receiving retaliatory action for a complaint I made the day before from my supervisor. It was emotionally devastating I've never experienced such in my 40+ years on earth.

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. What should I reasonably expect from a junior?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.
