While we dont have all the facts, if you have clear and absolute knowledge that the person lied, you must do something about it. It's a defining moment for you to be a leader. You can speak with an HR exec. There is no room for people who compromise their ethics. If someone will lie about their resume/quals, they may lie about other things including work performed, etc. This puts you, your teams and your firm at risk.
I know it sounds preachy, but no tolerance for people who lie, cross the line, etc. #DoTheRightThing
Not sure, I was not part of the hiring process.
Did they do a background check on you? If yes, they probably did the same for the person
If you weren’t part of the hiring process how do you know he lied?
And also he’s not performing up to par
He is a staff, what type of experience was required of him?
Experienced hire based on 2 years of experience
Didn’t you do a background check first?
Yes, please do it
So whats his real work experience?
It'd be one thing if he were performing well. Evidently, he is not. Fire his ass!!
