I like the direct people I work with, however, my company has built a culture where most team members are jumping at the chance to catch you slipping up and are waiting to throw you under the bus. It’s sad when different departments are in such heightened competition with each other. It seems counterproductive to the growth of our company.

Hi! I’ve been approached by Securonix for a Sales Director role in NA. I know the field and their competitors. The pay is good but I’ve seen a handful of websites with employee rating that is really bad. Each site has roughly 10 reviews but most are negative. Mostly referring to toxic culture and zero work life balance. How true is this in this sales org and the company in general? This is a backfill role after a 3 year tenure for the person who left.

Split classes take away joy! We have 6-7 classes at each grade level and they split 1-2 into the remaining 5 so we can have a 5 day schedule. Big classes plus the classroom culture homeroom teachers work so hard to achieve are ruined. Advice? (Plus we are told to "not be negative" by admin.)

She took documents on 23rd Aug and did salary discussion a week later. And giving shitty excuses like waiting for approval. Approver is on leave bla bla.
