I literally hate how unprofessional some recruiters are, got an offer at a hedge fund and the recruiter is saying that I topped their budget which is 10k under my bare minimum range, like why the fuck would i interview with you then if you can’t “afford” me. Also, it’s very frustrating to not hearing anything from other recruiters that leave me hanging with 0 updates on the status. Just be fucking honest and you wouldn’t have such understaffed departments.

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

Any tips on how to get started on prepping for VC interviews

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?
