So many rave review for olaplex but I really felt like my hair was softer with Trader Joe’s tingling tea leaf shampoo and conditioner. 🤷🏻♀️
Same with K18. I am back to traditional hair oiling and massage and my hair have never felt better. Is there anything that works?

So surprised that people don’t like it! I love it and always have it on hand. I will say though that I I use it as a regular lip balm, however. I think the whole “lip mask” thing is pure marketing and buy into that point of it. I think it’s a great product though and like that it also provides a touch of shine and healthy color without looking and especially feeling like a gloss.
I'm on my second bottle of Caudalie Vinoperfect serum. It smells nice and applies nicely, but I don't think it is actually doing anything...? it certainly hasn't lifted any dark spots or hyperpigmentation. overpriced and ineffective, in my opinion

So much build up from the shampoo!! I stick to only the body wash now because the smell is the best 😬
Kérastase Chroma. Smells great, provides no frizz to the hair (any hair, it’s fabulous), but it was so so strong to my hair that it made it fall like crazy.

In my opinion, no. Not that the products aren’t any good, just that in actuality, they aren’t standouts and there are plenty of others already out there. It’s all in the branding.
Not sure if it counts as “snake oil,” per se, but I will never be buying any mascara outside the drug store. The biggest gimmick of them all in my opinion, and the biggest waste of money you can make. I can’t believe people fall for the idea of “designer mascara.” 🤦♀️ If your mascara is Dior and not Covergirl and your face wash is St. Ives and not… well, actually, anything else… you’re doing it wrong!
