I met a few real jerks in this business. Like horrible people. I was thinking back to when I started 20 years ago and was shocking myself with how bad it was.

That said, I have been very fortunate to work with very kind and talented people the past few years. People I still call friends. Even I feel like a better person to work with due to them.

Hoping that you are in the latter category rather than the former right now. It is tough out there, and people are hurting.

Posted about this a while back but didn’t get a definitive response. I have a bunch of Manhattan prep GMAT books from the past few years that have little to no writing in them. There’s probably 20 of them so pretty heavy but I’m looking to give this away to someone for free. Only thing is I asked for you to take all of them versus just a few. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
