I need advice. I made a mistake last year and only recently discovered a CIFAS marker on my name after failing vetting checks for a dream job at a major UK lender. I’m worried this puts my career on hold for the next four years. Is there any way to challenge or remove it early? Also, do all banks and lenders run CIFAS checks, or are there some that don’t? Any guidance or experiences would really help.
