I need advice, I moved to North America a year ago. I have over 13 years of integrated advertising experience and yet it seems like I’m being valued for one year or at the most 5 years. I’ve worked on multiple brands across different industries (entertainment, FMCG, tourism, banking to name a few). I feel stuck!

Late stage analyst 1 at a mid-market heavy TMT focused M&A boutique in London. Keen to increase exit opps and realise it may be worth trying to lateral to a BB / name brand. Any opinions / advice on achievability? If low, what’s the best move here.

My salary was 3.1L until march 2022 and then post promotion 4.5L. I am serving notice period currently and I recieved a mail to submit Actual Investment Proof. What does it mean please help I am not getting clear idea. Should I file ITR with this salary?

Currently stuck in risk but interested in Cyber. Have done one related engagement from a regulatory perspective. But a lot of posts here making me think it’s harder to break into than I expected (non-technical background). Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? Right so here’s a bit of a dilemma I work to a much higher standard at home and it’s this high standard that means I’m in line for a promotion. I’ve grown so much and I feel really strong in my role I’m also busier than ever. The problem is we’re going back into the office and I don’t want to go in if it’s just going to be senior management in asking me to get them lunches for client meetings or fetch a glass of water and cutlery for meeting rooms. Definitely not ready to go back to that….

Who else started with small businesses and moved up to medium and large at agencies structured to handle it? I handle 40 clients and some 60 Content managers, ad managers, designers, developers, and a smattering of other positions.

Which was better? I have almost complete autonomy over what happens with small biz, but getting to focus on projects for more than an hour/month sounds nice.

I was promised a promotion, then was told I wasn’t getting promoted, started applying to other places, fought for it and ended up getting promoted and a raise. I was just offered a job at another agency for $15k higher than the raise I just got. My mom was just diagnosed with cancer and was told to stop working so now I have to cover all of her expenses as well as mine and my husband’s (he’s back in school). Sometimes it feels half my day is spent jumping through hoops to schedule and then reschedule meetings around senior managements’ calendars...only for them to be so late they miss the meeting anyways🙄
