I once traveled with a friend who had a full itinerary down to the minute—meanwhile, I just wanted to wander and take it slow. By day three, we were both frustrated—she thought I was too laid-back, and I thought she was making the trip feel like a job. Since then, I’ve learned that splitting up for parts of the day can save a friendship. But it’s not always that simple. Have you ever traveled with someone whose style clashed with yours? How did you handle it, and what’s the best way to compromise without ruining the trip?

Friends and family was too taxing so I only travel with my partner now, we are simpatico on agenda and if we feel like we need space we take a selfish day and do our own thing then meet up for lunch or a coffee later in the day. It works for us.

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Why are sibling relationships so complicated? We live in the same city. 23M w 21M bro in same city. We’ve always clashed, got closer in 2016-2019, then in covid started fighting and not being close. 2021 summer we got into some bad fights where he said some hurtful things that made me kind of hold a grudge until our fight in September. 2022 we’ve gotten a lot closer and only minimally clashed but still even tho we share personal things sometimes and have more mutual respect, cont

I’m excited for my wedding but it’s almost 9 months away and I started planning it over a year ago. However, whenever I’m around friends/family it’s the only thing people want to talk to me about. It’s constant and generally there’s not many updates to give & I’d just rather talk about other things. I work full time & I’m in school right now so I’m stressed about those things and I don’t know how to communicate that I’d just rather not talk about the wedding without sounding ungrateful/happy

Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?

Thank you!!
